Supporting EnergyCare with a financial contribution does not have to be limited to writing a check. There are several other way you can contribute and really make a difference in the work being performed by EnergyCare on behalf of our low-income St. Louis area neighbors. Here’s one to consider:
Shopping with a Purpose
Do you shop on line? By shopping through a special website portal, you can be making a contribution to EnergyCare at no extra cost to you.
For Our Cause is a free and easy to use website designed to give supporters of nonprofit organizations the ability to shop online and at the same time generate money for their favorite nonprofit organizations.
A predetermined percentage of each online purchase you make through the For Our Cause website is sent to EnergyCare. There are over 400 big name merchants with a wide array of products listed at the website. The percent of your purchase that benefits EnergyCare varies by merchant.
Merchants in the program include Apple iTunes, Target, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, Sears, JC Penney, Cabela’s, Dell, GAP, Home Depot, Lands’ End, PetSmart and Priceline.com, just to name a few.
